Christopher R. Kayser, Jr., age 21, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 in Great Lakes, IL. Born on March 28, 1999 in Baltimore, MD to Christopher R. and Renee M. Kayser, Christopher graduated from East Hampton High School in 2017. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2020. Christopher was an avid fisherman who spent a lot of time on the waters off the coast of Montauk in Long Island fishing for striped bass and shark. He also liked to snowboard and surf and was a black belt in Karate. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald W. Kayser. He is survived by his parents, Christopher R. and Renee M. Kayser; his sister, Maria N. Kayser; his grandparents, Louis and Carol Cusimano and Susan B. Kayser; his aunts, Denise Cusimano and Amy (Mike) Schneider and his cousins, Michaela and Alexandria Schneider. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to Christopher's Memorial Gathering at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD on Saturday, November 14 from 11 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 12 noon. Entombment with U.S. Navy Honors at Lakemont Memorial Gardens immediately following the Mass.
