(Loethen) Emmerich, 80, of Eldon, Missouri passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Jefferson City, Missouri.&nbsp; She was born April 29, 1940 in Meta, Missouri the daughter of the late Martin and Addie (Meltabarger) Loethen.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Joyce graduated from Eugene Cole R-5 in 1958.&nbsp; She was employed with International Shoe Factory from 1958-1960.&nbsp; She was united in marriage to Charles &ldquo;Pete&rdquo; Emmerich, Jr. in February 1960; from this union four children were born:</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Roger Dale who preceded her, Cynthia Lynn, Janet Leigh and Charles &ldquo;Chuck&rdquo; Ross.&nbsp; Joyce divorced in 1977.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">One Sister, Alice Hake and many Grandchildren, Nieces &amp; Nephews</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Joyce was employed with Chesebrough Ponds (now Unilever) for thirty-two years until her retirement in 2002.&nbsp; Joyce enjoyed twenty-five years with her loving companion, Leo L. Bruegenhemke who passed away January 2007.&nbsp; She enjoyed bowling and going to the casino with Leo. Joyce was a member of the Catholic faith.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Along with her son, Joyce is preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Mary&rsquo;s Home, MO with Graveside Services following at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery with Rev. Callistus C. Okoroji officiating.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital or to the Family.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Joyce M. (Loethen) Emmerich, 80, of Eldon, Missouri passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born April 29, 1940 in Meta, Missouri the daughter of the late Martin and Addie (Meltabarger) Loethen.

 

Joyce graduated from Eugene Cole R-5 in 1958.  She was employed with International Shoe Factory from 1958-1960.  She was united in marriage to Charles “Pete” Emmerich, Jr. in February 1960; from this union four children were born:

 

Roger Dale who preceded her, Cynthia Lynn, Janet Leigh and Charles “Chuck” Ross.  Joyce divorced in 1977.

Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Family.

 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
