Lucinda “Cindy” J. Goessman, 79, of Pekin, IL passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care in East Peoria, IL. She was born January 30, 1941 in West Frankfort, IL to William and Virginia Ross Goessman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Goessman; sister, Carol Parrish and son, Douglas “Doug” William Goessman who preceded her in death on September 20, 2020. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Shea Goessman, Addison Goessman, Ada Shipman-Goessman, Cade Shipman-Goessman and her cats, Muffy and Mooshi. Cindy retired from Little City Foundation in Palatine. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and an avid reader. She collected pewter and cat salt and pepper shakers. She enjoyed flea markets but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. A private service will be held. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
