Lois Jean Medlock, nee Wilkinson, of Davisville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 27 days. She was born February 8, 1941 to Lavern and Elsie Brown Wilkinson. On April 5, 1958 in Salem, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Rance Medlock and to this union three sons were born.

Lois was employed at Brown Shoe for several years, Sanval and Brake Parts. She enjoyed going to yard sales and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. For years, she enjoyed fishing with Rance. She loved her little Yorkie companion, Bentley, who misses her very much. Lois deeply loved seeing and being with all of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Elsie Wilkinson; her husband, Rance Medlock; one son, Steven Medlock; four brothers, Kenneth (Doris) Wilkinson, Tim (Rilma) Wilkinson, Clyde (Pat) Wilkinson and Plas (Jean) Wilkinson; and two sisters, Juanita (Noah) Pyatt and Freda (Loyd) Hunter; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim Jacob, Gary Adams and Josephine McDonald.

She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Tim (Amy) Medlock and Mike (Kim) Medlock all of Davisville, MO; one brother, Leon Wilkinson of Leasburg, MO; five grandchildren, Angel (companion Ryan), Devin (companion Samantha), Eli, Cole and Jasmine; one great-granddaughter, Serenity; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-la, Bob (Linda) Medlock of the Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Max McDonald of Jadwin, MO, Pat Jacob of Texas and Dena Adams of Valley Park, MO.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "If you only Knew" and "I want to stroll over Heaven with you" was sung by Phyllis Gibbs with Bob Coleman on guitar. Other music of "I Can only Imagine" was played.

Services were Live streamed on the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home Facebook page.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Davisville Cemetery.

Honored to be casket bearers were Devin Medlock, Cole Medlock, Eli Medlock, Jasmine Medlock, Angel Medlock, Serenity Carmack and Bill Dotson.

The Medlock Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
