George Irwin Findley Obituary

George Irwin Findley was born on August 3, 1929, in Willow Ranch, California. George passed away on October 17, 2020 in Prineville, Oregon. George was in the Army from 1946 through 1949. He was a Diesel Mechanic and a Logging and Long Haul Truckdriver. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois Findley of Chemult, Oregon. His brother, Walt Findley of Willits, California and Howard Findley of Spokane, Washington. His children and their families; Georgia Rawson of Tracy, California, Cheryl Brixey of Oakdale, California, Mike Findley of Chemult, Oregon, Kathy Gruetter of Stockton, California, Denise Ghamrawi of San Jose, California, Candy Wagner of Christmas Valley, Oregon and Karen Lewellyn of Kerrville, Texas. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, his daughter Cynthia Wagner and numerous nieces and nephews. The Findley family would like to give our great appreciation to Partners In Care of Bend and Regency Hospital in Prineville, Oregon. As well as the Chemult Volunteer Fire Department, for all the love and care you gave George in the last few months of his life.
