LuAnn Marie Jantz LuAnn Marie Jantz, age 50, of Oneida, NY, passed away on October 31, 2020. LuAnn was born in Waverly, to Roger and Lucinda “Cindy” Jantz. She went to Candor High School and graduated in 1988. She went to earn a degree in Nursing from Morrisville College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Upstate Hospital at the Community Campus. She formerly worked at the Slocum Dickson Clinic and Walsh Medical Center of Mohawk Correctional Facility LuAnn enjoyed spending time with her fiancé, Al Beecher and her two boys, Austin and Mason, four wheeling and doing chores around the property which she called her Garden of Eden. She cared deeply for her family and friends, and had a few nurses that she had “adopted throughout her career as an LPN and RN. She was passionate about her career and advocated for her patients. She was a lover of all animals. If she could have cared for every homeless animal, she would have. LuAnn’s passing will be felt far and wide and she will be deeply missed. LuAnn is survived by her fiancé, Alvin Beecher of Oneida, NY; her sons, Austin and Mason Perry; her brother, John (Karin) Jantz of Candor, NY; her sister, Joann (Jim) Tolbert of Remsen, NY, and her sister, Veronica (Carl) Williamson of Candor, NY; her parents, Roger and Cindy Jantz of Candor, NY; her nieces and nephews, Susan, Brian, Jason, Kyle, Megan and Kellen; and several aunts, uncles and many many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Gladys Jantz and Alice (Bessie) Nichols. Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Friday from 1 to 4 PM.
