Glen Truman Crane, Jr., 81, of Fort Smith passed away on Monday November 2, 2020 in Fort Smith. He was born August 31, 1939 in Fort Smith to Glen Truman and Louise (Rochelle) Crane, Sr. He was retired from retail sales, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Oak Cliff Baptist Church. Truman was preceded in death by his parents; twin grandsons, Samuel and Levi Crane and twin great grandsons, Terry and Axel Daniels. Truman is survived by his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Lou Ann Daniels of Fort Smith and Gayle Barbry and her husband Chad of Van Buren; one son, Roger Crane and his wife Laura of Las Cruces, NM; one sister, Mary Jo Roy of Fort Smith; one brother, Larry Crane of Lavaca; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M. Monday November 9, 2020 at Oak Cliff Baptist Church with burial with military honors in U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Troy Douglas, Jim Habestzer, Don Spradling, Larry Biggs, Dale Dawson and James Carty .Honorary pallbearers will be the Men’s Adult One Sunday School Class.
