Kay Lorraine Colby
Our family sadly lost our mother, grandmother and great grandmother October 28, 2020, at 85 years of age and longtime resident of Kennewick, WA. Kay was born on February 19, 1935 in Winterset, Iowa to Neal James Luke and Ruth Cambridge. She was always involved in and loved horses and was a 4-H leader for several years and involved in the Benton County Fair and Benton City Jr Fair and Rodeo. She loved to crochet and made beautiful afghans and doilies for her friends and family. She worked as a secretary for many years at Kennewick General Hospital and for the Intel Corporation in Oregon. She is survived by her children, daughter Shelley (Frank) Weber of Kennewick WA, son Craig M Franks of Kennewick WA, son Kevin L (Holly) Zuck of Kinderhook Ill, six grandchildren Heather Weber, Craig W Franks, K.C Franks, James Zuck, Jason Zuck, Justin Zuck, three great grandchildren Liliana Eells, Briar Franks and Lenae Caudle. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Neal Luke and Ruth (Cambridge) Lorimer. Rest in everlasting peace Mom and enjoy reuniting with all who have gone before you! Our Mom requested to be cremated and without a funeral service. A Celebration of Life in the mountains will be organized at a future date.
