Lela "Tootsie" Louise Herron, age 84, of Marble Hill, Missouri was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill. She was born on February 22, 1936 in Lutesville, Missouri. The daughter of James Madison “Mattie” and Ruthie Caroline Seabaugh Stratton. She married Jimmie Herron on December 5, 1953 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1993. Tootsie worked at the International/ Paramount Hat factory in Marble Hill until its closing and she retired. She got bored sitting at home, so she went back to work at the Henschel Hat Factory in Sedgewickville, Missouri, until she retired a second time. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Marble Hill, until illness took her mind from us. She would sing in the choir, sing specials, and testify. She would always say, "I want to stand for my Lord, cause I want him to stand for me." She would often sing, “There’s a Higher Power,” and by the end of the song we understood what it was saying. She is going to be missed by all who knew her, but her song will continue to be carried on through her family. Survivors include her children; James William Herron, Barbara Joan (Rev.
