Sue Haws, 85, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 2, 2020 at Falls City. She was born November 25, 1934 at Falls City to Joseph and Alyce (Brown) Stewart.

She married Virgil Vinsonhaler and they were later divorced and then married Clarence Haws, he passed away in 1986.

Sue was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City High School. When married to her first husband they lived in different places because of his work. She was employed at Milam’s Greenhouse at Falls City. When married to Mr. Haws they made their home in Falls City and following his death she moved to Lincoln, NE where she worked in neighborhood grocery stores until moving back to Falls City in 1998 and she has lived here since. She enjoyed auctions, flea markets and had booths in various antique malls. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was a former Girl Scout leader.

Sue is survived by her children, Vicki Martineau of Falls City, Linda Lee and her husband Roger of Falls City, Nancy Brown and her significant other, Bill Green of Pleasant Valley, MO, Wesley Vinsonhaler and his significant other, Gina Otto of Beatrice, NE, seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, two sisters, and a son in infancy, Edward.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Masks are required at the church and social distancing guidelines will be practiced.

A Parish Rosary will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be practiced.
