<p>Sally Ann Voris, 68, of Taneytown, MD, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home.&nbsp; Born November 14, 1951 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James Calvin and Helen Wade (Pressley) Voris.</p> <p>Sally was a writer, storyteller, and owner of White Rose Farm near Taneytown, which became a retreat and inspiration for her writing.&nbsp; She enjoyed gardening and was a founding member of the Patapsco Heritage Greenway.</p> <p>Surviving are her son, Alex Streat of Ellicott City, MD; siblings, Jinny Batterson (Jim) of NC, Bruce Voris (Wendy Ng) of Elkridge, MD, and Jim Voris (Chris) of FL.&nbsp; She is also remembered by her former spouse, Ken Streat of Ellicott City.</p> <p>A private graveside service was held at White Rose Farm.&nbsp; Arrangements were entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.</p>

Sally Ann Voris, 68, of Taneytown, MD, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home.  Born November 14, 1951 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James Calvin and Helen Wade (Pressley) Voris.

Sally was a writer, storyteller, and owner of White Rose Farm near Taneytown, which became a retreat and inspiration for her writing.  She enjoyed gardening and was a founding member of the Patapsco Heritage Greenway.

Surviving are her son, Alex Streat of Ellicott City, MD; siblings, Jinny Batterson (Jim) of NC, Bruce Voris (Wendy Ng) of Elkridge, MD, and Jim Voris (Chris) of FL.  She is also remembered by her former spouse, Ken Streat of Ellicott City.

A private graveside service was held at White Rose Farm.  Arrangements were entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
