Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, ALICE BRAKE, of Marystown, NL, at the age of 56. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sisters – Rita (Theo) Pittman of Marystown & Theresa (Fred) Collins of Winterland; Brothers – George (Josie) Brake of Marystown, Vince (Dorothy) Brake of Hamilton, ON & Tom (Annette) Brake of BC; 13 Special nieces & nephews; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Alice was predeceased by her parents – George & Julia Brake; Brothers – James & Aloysius Brake; Sisters – Lillian & Deborah Brake.

Visitation will take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown, on Friday, September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.
