Julia "Nanu" Belle Gross

<p>Julia Belle &ldquo;Nanu&rdquo; Gross, 89 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Kindred Hearts in Elkhorn, WI.&nbsp; She was born October 27, 1931 in Coshocton, OH, the daughter of the late Clive and Zola (Lawrence) Tumblin. Julia was a 1949 graduate of Coshocton High School.&nbsp; Julia married Arlie Gross on January 2, 1953 in Ohio.&nbsp; He preceded her in death on March 26, 1991.&nbsp; They had 5 children.&nbsp; Arlie and Julia along with their daughter, Cindy McKenna, owned and operated Abell&rsquo;s Restaurant.&nbsp; Julia loved bowling, Euchre, playing darts and traveling.&nbsp; She loved to socialize with all her friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>Julia is survived by her four children; Cindy McKenna, Gloria (John) Farrell, David Gross and Diana (Steve) Flosi, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Arlie Gross, son, Michael Gross, granddaughter, Amy Farrell, son-in-law, Dennis &ldquo;Smack&rdquo; McKenna, and by her siblings; Charles Tumblin, Sara Cox, Beverly Womer and Doris Wilson.&nbsp;</p> <p>There will be a private service at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the Tree House Child and Family Center, W4063 Cty Rd NN Elkhorn, WI.&nbsp; Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.&nbsp; Haase-Lockwood &amp; Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory completed arrangements for the Gross Family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Julia Belle “Nanu” Gross, 89 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Kindred Hearts in Elkhorn, WI.  She was born October 27, 1931 in Coshocton, OH, the daughter of the late Clive and Zola (Lawrence) Tumblin.
