Kenneth Earl Lancaster passed away October 30, 2020, after a long battle with cancer, in Irving, TX. Ken was born July 11, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School, East Texas State University, and the University of Texas. He was a member of Irving Rotary Club for 50 years. He is survived by Myrna Jackson Lancaster, his wife of 54 years; one daughter Kristi McGuire and son-in-law Sean; one granddaughter Emily Barton and fiancé Justin Gallo; one sister, Donna London, and husband Kirk London. Preceding him in death are his parents, S.O. and Katie Lancaster, and sister, Joyce McKee, and husband James McKee. Ken is also survived by many nephews and nieces. There will be a graveside service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 1413 E. Irving Blvd, Irving TX at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020. Masks are required. A special thank you to Amity Hospice and Homewatch Caregivers. Memorials can be made to Smitherman Scholarship fund at Child Study Center at Cook Children’s and mailed to Cook Children Health Foundation, 801 7th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
