Eldred Earl Gerald

Little River, South Carolina Mr. Eldred Earl Gerald, age 73, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Mr. Gerald was born on January 18, 1947 in Loris, SC, to the late Lucian Cornelius Gerald and the late Blantie Annabelle Moore Gerald. He served his country with courage, honor, and dignity in the United States National Guard. Mr. Gerald was known for his kind and loving spirit, being a hard worker, and a friend to all. He worked and retired as an insurance salesman and manager and was a member of Loris First Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-six years, Susan Duncan Gerald of Little River, SC; son, Chris Gerald and wife, Nicole of Little River, SC; three step-grandchildren, Felix Pitts, Jordan Sizemore, and Cameron Sizemore; two step-grandchildren; and brother, Larry Gerald and wife, Loretta of Loris, SC. Mr. Gerald was predeceased by his five brothers, Cleveland Gerald, J.O. Gerald, Howard M. Gerald, L.C. Gerald, Jr., and Barcey Gerald; four sisters, Chellie Todd, Wilma Booth, Christine Page, and Elnita Chestnut; and brother-in-law, Michael Duncan. We ask that everyone social distance and face masks are required for this service. Due to concerns regarding the Corona Virus, the family has elected to postpone Mr. Gerald’s memorial service. They hope that they will be able to reschedule the service in the future if public health and wellbeing concerns will allow.
