Lyle E. Conrad
<p> Lyle E. Conrad, 83, of Olds, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant. Private family burial will be in the Crawfordsville Cemetery. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Lyle. The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Winfield is caring for Lyle’s family and arrangements.</p> <p> Lyle E. Conrad was born on September 22, 1937, in Henry County, Iowa the son of Willis J. and E. Irene (Roush) Conrad. He was a 1956, graduate of Olds High School and then attended Barber College in Cedar Rapids. On December 7, 1958, Lyle was united in marriage to Ann Mullin at the Olds Church. He worked at the Mt. Pleasant MHI for 35 years and owned and operated Lyle’s Repair in Olds for 46 years. Lyle was a member of the Iris CB Club and enjoyed attending Old Threshers, dining out with his wife, Ann, listening to Country music and spending time with his family and friends. Lyle was also known to the community as “The Fix-It Man”.</p> <p> Lyle will be deeply missed by his wife, Ann of Olds; his children, Russell (Lorri) Conrad of Olds, Bryan (Beverly) Conrad of Wayland and Doug (Joyce) Conrad of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Kelsey Olson, Jarod Conrad, Casey Conrad, Stephanie Chalupa, Cody Conrad and Dalton Conrad; six great grandchildren; one brother, Lynn (Cindy) Conrad of Mt. Pleasant and one sister, Gail (Mark) DeParma of Jacksonville, Alabama.</p> <p> Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.</p>Obituary
