<p>It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Hilary Joseph Brenton of Burin announces his passing. Hilary passed away at his residence in Burin on Saturday, October 31st, 2020, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 52 years, Cecilia; son, Sean Brenton (Melanie) of Halifax, NS; daughter, Paula Brenton (Terry Walsh) of Burin; 6 grandchildren, Jordan King, Zachery King, Hillary Farrell, Brianna Farrell, Jenna Brenton and Erin Brenton; brothers, Eric (Shirley), Harvey (Margaret), Bruce (Evelyn), Brendan (Linda) and Glen; sisters, Mary Walsh (Leo), Judy Antle, Margaret Gage (Rick) and Susan Antle (Robert); plus a large circle of extended family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Hilary was predeceased by parents Edward and Bride Brenton; brothers, David, Terry, Kevin and Fred; sisters, Sarah Slaney and Debbie McGuigan.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place. </p><p><br></p><p>Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's R.C.
