Raymond "Ray" Voegele

<p>&nbsp;Raymond &ldquo;Ray&rdquo; Voegele, 82, of Beulah, ND passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery, Beulah.</p> <p>Ray was born on June 20, 1938 in Beulah, ND to Christ and Eva (Voegele) Voegele. He was raised and educated in Beulah and graduated from Beulah High School in 1958. He entered the U.S. Army in 1959 and served his country until 1962 when he was honorably discharged. Ray returned to Beulah and worked as a lineman for MDU Resources until his retirement in 2000. Ray married Marcia Braa and the couple had two children, Jessica and Travis.</p> <p>Ray loved baseball. He was a member of the Beulah Miners 1956 State Baseball Championship team. Ray was also a huge L.A. Dodgers fan and was excited that they had just won the World Series. Ray also enjoyed going for drives and helping his children with projects, offering help and supervising.</p> <p>Ray is survived by his daughter, Jessica (John) Voegele of Bismarck; his son, Travis (Jenna) Voegele of Beulah; his grandson, Issac Delamotte of Bismarck; one sister, Hella Menge of Bismarck; one brother-in-law, Ralph Spier of Bismarck; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Alvina Spier; and three brothers, Rudy, Robert and Rueben.</p> <p>Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.</p>
