Obituary

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Patricia, on October 28, 2020 at the age of 81 years.  She was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She is also remembered fondly by many friends.  Patricia appreciated all your thoughts and cards.  Her love and acceptance of us will be dearly missed but we will remember her for her talented painting, extraordinary piano playing and for her sense of humor even when her health failed her.  She enjoyed flipping through many a home decorating magazine, which gave her ideas for her Arts and Crafts and for decorating her home and yard.  We marveled at her home-made wrapping paper and whipped shortbread at Christmas.  Patricia never failed to make sure we all felt special and were appreciated for our own unique ways.  Pat and Karl spent many happy times travelling to Mexico and Arizona, always meeting up with old friends, and making new ones over the years.

She held a special place in our family and leaves behind her husband Karl, children; Julie, John, Joey (Kris), and Stephanie (David), her dear grandchildren; Ashley, Allison, Shylah, Anna, Haylie, Kyle and Nathan.  She also leaves behind her sister, BJ, in Ontario.  She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Mike. Patricia was a wonderful person and we will miss her.  Providence Funeral Homes Summerland Chapel in charge of arrangements.
