<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Newark ~ Hazel Fay (Steel) Payne, 74, went to be with our Lord Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Southlake.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Funeral is 1:00 PM Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial in Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Chaplin Dan Ashley will officiate. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Hazel was born on October 15, 1946 to Sherman and Jewel Bernice (Johnson) Steel in Dallas. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Payne in Durant, Oklahoma in 1968.
