Carlos Talavera, 76 of Delray Beach, Florida Passed away on October 29, 2020 Carlos was born in Guatemala and it is there that he met his wife, Thelma. He began his long and successful career in AIG, which allowed him and his family to travel and live around the world. After dedicating 50 prosperous years with AIG, he retired to live out a restful retirement in Florida. A family man, who loved his wife and family. His greatest pleasure was to watch as his family grew and rejoiced in sharing his hobbies and his humor. He was a quiet and reserved man with a love for cars, music and God. He was an exemplary husband, father, brother, father in law and grandfather. Carlos has left behind a legacy of love and devotion, both to family and God. He leaves behind fond memories of traveling with his grandchildren, walking his three daughters down the aisle and sharing the word of God with his wife every day. Family Survived by his wife Thelma, daughters Karla, Claudia and Maria Alejandra, sons in law Michael, Andres, and Benjamin, by his 5 grandchildren, Markus, Kristoff, Carlos Andres, Josefina, and Jose Manuel, by sister Ruth and brother German. Family will receive friends Monday, November 2, 2020 2-4pm with a 4pm funeral service at the funeral home. It will be live viewed for those who cannot participate.
