Hannis Sibley Rider, Sr.
<p>Hannis Sibley Rider, Sr., age 85, a native and resident of the Bromley community of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, October 30, 2020 at North Baldwin Infirmary. He was and Instrument Mechanic at Monsanto for 35 years wans worked at Julius Long Electric for 12 years. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran having served during Korea.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, Mary Ethel Nettles Rider of Bromley and one son, Hannis S. Rider, Jr. of Stockton, AL and a granddaughter, Sara Jane Rider of Crestview, FL.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Dixon Rider and a brother, Hurley Rider.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery in Bromley.</p> <p>The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.</p>Obituary
