<p>Lorna Cobb, formerly of Maynard died on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her daughter&#39;s home in St. Paul at the age of 92.</p> <p>Private services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A recording of the service will be available on Lorna&#39;s obituary page beginning on Thursday, November 5, 2020</p> <p>A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 5 to 7 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home.&nbsp; Masks and social distancing will be required.</p> <p>Lorna Viola (Macziewski) Cobb was born August 15, 1928 in Cashel Township, Swift County, MN the daughter of Arthur and Martha (Guse) Macziewski. &nbsp;She was baptized at St. John&rsquo;s Lutheran Church of Grace and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock. &nbsp;Lorna attended Chippewa County Country School Dist. 61 through the 8th grade, then attended Clara City public schools and graduated from Maynard High School in 1946. &nbsp;Following high school, she attended Gale Institute in Minneapolis. &nbsp;She was employed at Brown &amp; Bigelow in Minneapolis. &nbsp;On October 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leland Cobb at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock. &nbsp;They made their home in Montevideo for a couple of years before moving to the farm north of Maynard. &nbsp;She worked&nbsp;as a bookkeeper at VSC in Clara City until&nbsp;they closed. &nbsp;She then went to work for Gibson Trucking until she retired. &nbsp;Lorna was very active at Trinity of Havelock serving as treasurer, teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Lutheran Women&#39;s Missionary League, and many other activities. &nbsp;She was also very involved with the Blood Mobile and the Legion Auxiliary. &nbsp;Lorna enjoyed sewing huck embroidery afghans, gardening and raising flowers.</p> <p>She is survived by her children: Karen (Dan) Mackenzie of St. Paul, MN, Craig (Janna) Cobb of Huron, SD and Douglas (Joyce) Cobb of Richmond Hill, GA; twelve grandchildren: Courtney (Faina) Guertin, Kari (Aaron) Jensen, Andrew Mackenzie, Angela Mackenzie, Melinda Christensen, Deanna Mackenzie, Nicholas (Jennie) Cobb, Emily (Jesse) Lantgen, Brandon (Beatrice) Cobb, Sammantha Watson, Andrew Cobb, and Jared Cobb; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jack Kissler; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.</p> <p>Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Leland in 2002; two brothers: Richard and Mike Macziewski; a sister, Shirley in infancy; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Red Cross.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Lorna Viola (Macziewski) Cobb was born August 15, 1928 in Cashel Township, Swift County, MN the daughter of Arthur and Martha (Guse) Macziewski.  She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Grace and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock.  Lorna attended Chippewa County Country School Dist. 61 through the 8th grade, then attended Clara City public schools and graduated from Maynard High School in 1946.  Following high school, she attended Gale Institute in Minneapolis.  She was employed at Brown & Bigelow in Minneapolis.  On October 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leland Cobb at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock.  They made their home in Montevideo for a couple of years before moving to the farm north of Maynard.  She worked as a bookkeeper at VSC in Clara City until they closed.  She then went to work for Gibson Trucking until she retired.  Lorna was very active at Trinity of Havelock serving as treasurer, teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and many other activities.  She was also very involved with the Blood Mobile and the Legion Auxiliary.  Lorna enjoyed sewing huck embroidery afghans, gardening and raising flowers.
