Paul St. Clair Obituary

Paul Kelly St. Clair, 68, passed away at his home in Savannah, Georgia on Thursday, October 29, 2020. Paul was born on July 18, 1952 in Myrtle Creek, Oregon to the late Phillip St. Clair and Dessie Mae Floyd Shoemaker. He was a long haul truck driver for many years, and then worked as a diesel and auto mechanic around the Hilton Head Island, South Carolina area. 

Preceding him in death were two of his brothers, Bob Robertson and Chuck Crampton, one sister, Margie St. Clair Johnson, his granddaughter Kaylee Sue Lane, and two beloved dogs, Tia and Wendy. Paul is survived by his three children, Maria Simone St. Clair (Tucker) of El Paso, Texas, Paul John St. Clair (Pamela) of Santa Claus, Indiana, and Michelle Kellie St. Clair McBride (John) of Clarksville, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Michael St. Clair (Dorothy) of Fairfield, California, John-Paul St. Clair (Dakota) of Tacoma, Washington, Gabrielle St. Clair Devine (Erick) of Evansville, Indiana, Elezabeth St. Clair of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jadon Lane of Clarksville, Tennessee, Nalani Peters of Dale, Indiana, Toby Lane of Clarksville, Tennessee, David St. Clair of Fairfield, California, and Michelle St. Clair of Fairfield, California. Paul is survived by six of his brothers and sisters, Edward Raymond Robertson (Kathy) of McMinnville, Oregon, James Daniel Shoemaker, Jerry St. Clair of Savannah, Georgia, Susan Parker (Rick) of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Joan C. Janke (Bob) of Rockford, Illinois, and Kathy Ralston (Hal) of Rancho Calaveras, California

He leaves behind Henry Dalrymple, who he took under his wings, and treated as a son, and Rocky, his ever-faithful dog. You never saw Paul around town without Rocky by his side. 

Paul will be dearly missed by all of his brothers and sisters, his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Rocky, and all of the many friends that cared so much for him. We will be forever grateful for the love and kindness extended to Paul throughout his lifetime. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland.
