Ian Drummond Edwards

Lincoln – Ian Drummond Edwards, 46, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Burlington. He was born August 10, 1974 in Lincoln, the son of Timothy and Rhonda (Ryder) Edwards. Ian grew up in Lincoln, and was a graduate of Mattanawcook Academy, class of 1993. Ian loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could enjoying activities that let him be there. He spent many happy times hunting and fishing and was a master trapper. In the fall, he would tip boughs for wreaths, and cut many cords of firewood. He loved talking to people and could always be counted on to help out anybody that needed it with any odd jobs. In addition to his parents, Ian is survived by two sisters, Heather Sollis-Edwards and her husband Garry, and Victoria Blomsma and fiancé Kevin Stoddard; two nieces, who meant the world to him, Sophie Blomsma and Kayleigh Sollis; close friends, Bob and Gloria; and a special friend, Melody Isasi; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be remembered by those who knew him as outgoing and loyal, and was incredibly good with kids, whether those of relatives or of his friends. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Lincoln Cemetery. In accordance with pandemic guidelines, masks will be required and social distancing respected. Gifts in memory of Ian may be sent to any charity benefitting outdoors and wildlife. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
