Arthur Erastus Frandsen “Art Fink” of Mulino OR Past away peacefully in his sleep, October 16 2020, At 2:57 PM After a long battle with Dementia and was preceded in death by his wife Frankie, (Stepson) Danny Rockholt, (4 Brothers) Aurs, Dean, Doug and Ralph, (2 Sisters) Louis, and Gwen. Art was born January 17th, 1942 to his parents Lamonda and Allen Frandsen in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his two sons, Mike Frandsen (wife-Kelley) Ryan Frandsen (wife- Kristi) Step-daughter, Jessie Green, two step-sons, Randy Rockholt , Troy Starks. Along with his twelve grandchildren, & seven great-grandchildren, Sister-In-Law Susie whom He laughingly called his sister as well as many extended family members & friends. Arthur married his wife Frances “Frankie” in July, 1973 and together they shared the years raising their blended family Jessie, Randy, Danny, Troy, & Ryan in their Gresham home. Free time was spent enjoying family trips & vacations, playing in their local pool league yearly together, playing bingo, watching Scary movies, Mash, and Star Trek. While enjoying some Brewskis and Wine with his wife Frankie. During all these years Arthur supported his family as an iron worker at L & L Fab. He was well known for his hard work ethic, attention to detail and for being a perfectionist with tasks at hand. This made Art there go to guy. He worked at this company with his best friend John and his youngest son Ryan. Being a long time employee he and his family (including his oldest grandchildren) would attend the yearly company picnics. He retired in 2002 after losing Frankie, the love of his life to Cancer. Retirement did not slow him down one bit though, he was still a quick-footed spry old man with fuzzy white hair sticking out of his funny trucker hats and a wired white beard. He kept himself busy with more than many at his age. He never once gave up on helping and supporting his family in any way he could. He often spent his time doing many things such as household repairs, taking senior classes on how to use a computer, reading anything and everything from front to back (including instructions for putting things together, magazines and weekly newspapers). His hobbies in his younger years including flying, parasailing, snorkeling, and more. Then as he aged he enjoyed hunting/fishing with his son Ryan & best-friend John, watching documentaries, westerns, and conspiracy theories while in the company of his long time companion pet Rosey (RIP). Another one of his favorite hobbies was making his home-made Armadillo, picking blackberries for his home-made brandy, and the fine taste of his beloved whiskey quite often. He also didn’t miss a week playing the Oregon Lottery and Powerball either, as he might have been the next big millionaire, lol. Before his illness progressed this man didn’t skip a beat, and he drove around like a speed racer every where he went (not the typical grandpa driver, lol). He didn’t let anyone stop him from going where he was going at any given time. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
