Ross Brinson Obituary

Passed peacefully away in St. John’s NL surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents: Willis Brinson (1985) and Elizabeth Brinson (2003). Leaving to mourn with many wonderful memories Daughter Kathy Ducey (John Ducey), Son Gordon Brinson (Christine LeGrow); His beloved Grandchildren Mathew Ducey and Lincoln Ducey, his Sister Patricia Manual (Ken Manual), Partner Mary-Beth Mann, extended family and friends. Ross loved the outdoors, boating, hunting and fishing. He was a great cook. His favourite pastime was preparing large meals with as many friends and family as possible gathered around the table. Throughout his life he served in the RCAF, moved onto aviation mechanics and sailed yachts between the Virgin Islands and New York. He travelled the country and overseas eventually settling into a long career in Marine Electronics. Throughout his lifetime, Ross made many friends who all made an impact on his life. He was full of life, stories, loved his canine companions and never missed a Blue Jays game. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire hospital staff at the Health Science Centre for the exceptional care and compassion for Ross in final his days. As per Ross’s final wishes a cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will be held at a later date. To leave a message of condolence for the family please visit www.barretts.ca
