November 22, 1950 – October 27, 2020
Clyde passed peacefully away at home in St. John’s surrounded by family, after a short battle with cancer. Originally from Ireland’s Eye, NL, and resettled in Trinity, he was predeceased by his parents, Annie and Charlie Hodder, brothers; Wilson Hodder and Harvey Bailey, parents-in-law Sheila and Red James, and beloved family pet, Caspian. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Carol (James), daughter Nadine and her partner Matt Snow, close sister-in-law Denise Lewis, sisters and brothers-in-law in NL and NB, a large extended family from NL to BC, as well as a large circle of close friends and organizations he was committed to, particularly the Knights of Columbus and St. Teresa’s Parish, Mundy Pond. A private funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s, Saturday, October 31st at 11am, with interment to follow. To view the service virtually please see the link below.
