Patricia Lou VanPelt, 80, died October 28, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born January 25, 1940 to Wilmer and Gertrude Irene (Angstead) Williams in Chariton, Iowa. Patricia assembled computers for a manufacturing company. She enjoyed going to church and praying for others, and she loved to sing in the choir. Patricia also loved Dr. Pepper, traveling, crocheting, and anything with turquoise, her favorite color. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Lester Lee VanPelt; and her son, Gary Lee VanPelt. Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Sherry (Raymond) Trujillo of Colorado Springs, Brenda (Paul) Warner of Fountain, Colorado, and Carla (Dan) Gauley of Cortez, Colorado; grandson, Christopher Wood; granddaughters, Briana Trujillo, Amanda Trujillo, Krystal Gauley, Angelina Gauley, and Brittany Warner; great-grandsons, Josiah Martinez and Daytona Wood; and great-granddaughters, Skylynn Boyd and Mahlaya Boyd. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
