George Allen Travis, age 50, born in Atmore, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He worked at Newell and Bush Construction.

He is survived by his children, Tabitha (Daniel) Sanders of Cochran, GA and Sabrina (Richard) Abbott of Yakima, WA; two brothers, Darrell Travis of Bay Minette, AL and Ferrell (Teresa) Travis of Perdido, AL; his companion, Joy Lambert of Bay Minette, AL; step children, Axl (Kayla Smith) Lambert and Aubreah “Nicole” (Richie) Butler and grandchildren, Zada Davis, Scarlett Fordham, Cayson Maddox, Harlie Sanders, Samuel Fields-Abbott, Harmony Lambert, Harleine Lambert, Ray Van Lambert, Brantley Mosley and Joshua Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Shorty” and Kathy Travis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Travis, Aaron Godwin, Jerry Greek, Axl Lambert, Chad Johnson and Tristan Holt.
