Ruth Jeanette Sparks

Holding her husband’s hand, Ruth Jeanette Pool Sparks, aged 90, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2020. She was born November 7, 1929 near Carlsbad, New Mexico to Tom & Amy Pool. She spent her childhood in Danville, Arkansas. During WWII, her family moved to Oklahoma City, and in 1946, she graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She married Kenneth Sparks on July 3, 1955. To this union were born two children – Karen and Kevin. In 1972, they moved to Tuttle, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and loved to read, bowl, shop and laugh. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth of the home; daughter, Karen and Terry Watts of Mustang, OK; son Kevin and Stephanie Sparks of Bartlesville, OK; grandchildren Jake and Heather, Molly, Beau, Claire, and Laine; and her first soon-to-be-born great grandchild. Also, by one sister Judy and Larry Elmore of Belleville, Arkansas and two brothers Don and Glynelle Pool and Tracy Pool both of Danville, AR.
