Fannie Lee Jones Coleman, 88, died October 28, 2020. Fannie Lee Jones Coleman was born in Memphis, TN to the late DeWitt and Leatrice Jones on March 14, 1932. She graduated from St. Anne Catholic School and later attended The Memphis Area Vocational Technical School. Fannie was married to the late Olave E. Coleman and they raised 4 children. She retired from Buckman Laboratories International, Inc. in Memphis, where she was a Word Processing Supervisor. Her Christian journey began at an early age at Hill Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she later played piano and organ, and taught the choir for many years. She joined her final church home at World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and would share and spread the word to all her children and others. She was ready to meet her maker and has made her peace with God. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Ronald E. Coleman (Lee), Brenda Joyce Coleman, Judith C. Farmer (David) and Audrey Lynn Shackleford (Al). She was preceded in death by her husband, Olave E. Coleman; a sister, Irma J. Scott; and grandson, Derrick Coleman (Tiffany). She also leaves her cousins, Dorothy Jean Watkins (Robert) and Irma Jean Chalmers (George); grandchildren, Ezekial Coleman-Isom (Tina), David and Daniel Farmer, Alfred and Angela Shackleford, Allyn (Mark) Shackleford, Stephen Shackleford (LaShawnda), Crystal Shackleford, Aundria Mims (Knicko), Caitlyn Shackleford; a host of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, cousins, nieces and nephews.
