Mrs. Mattie Mae Samuels, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Annie Mae Brockman. Surviving: four daughters, Patricia Samuels of Greenville, SC, Debra (David) Jones of Newnan, GA, Veronica (Willie) Nedwards of Piedmont, SC, Teresa (Rev. Michael) Thurmond of Greenville, SC; two sons, Willie Edward Samuels of Baltimore, MD and John (Vicky) Samuels of Greenville, SC; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Monday, November 2, 2020, 4:00 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with a Private burial Tuesday, November 3, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
