Anna Hardin

Anna Lee Hardin, Checotah resident, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 81. She was born on Sunday, November 13, 1938 to Frank and Audrey (Jackson) Kruezberg in Norman, OK. She grew up in the Norman/Shawnee area. On Monday, August 16, 1954 Anna married the love of her life, James A. Hardin in Norman, OK spending 66 years together as husband and wife. In 1963, she went back to school and obtained her LPN working in Dallas, TX. In the early 70’s Anna graduated as a R. N. working in Flagstaff, AZ, Durango, CO, and Monticello, UT. While working in Utah, she taught nursing school. In 1986, she got sick while working at City of Faith. She loved painting, baking banana nut bread for her grandkids and mastered home remedies. Anna was a great prayer warrior and will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Jerry and Kenneth. She is lovingly survived by her husband, James Hardin; and her children, Karen Ann Lilly and her husband Terry of Broken Arrow, OK, James Allen Hardin and his wife Stacy of Yukon, OK, and Jarrel Lynn Hardin and his wife Connie of Checotah, OK. Anna is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Ray Morton, Josh Morton, Anelicia Brimacomb, Matthew Morton, Weston Hardin, Steven Hardin, Michael Hardin, and Mark Smith; her 10 great grandchildren as well as other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
