Mary Jane Chwaszczewski Williams Obituary

Mary Jane (Chwaszczewski) Williams, loving sister, mother and grandmother passed away on Thursday October 15, 2020 due to heart disease.  She was 62 years old.

Mary was born on October 25, 1957 in Chicago IL.  The family moved to Green Bay WI in 1969 where Mary graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1975.  She initially lived in Florida but eventually moved to the Seattle area where she worked for the Seattle Times, K2 and the City of Tacoma.  She loved singing and dancing and also had a talent for lacework and cross-stitch (one of which said “So It’s Not Home Sweet Home… Adjust!”).  For fun, she and her sons would go to garage sales, have picnics in the living room, and play “Get Lost” by driving down random country roads.  Intelligent, independent, talkative, determined and hard-working – a strong person.  We loved Mary and her presence will be missed.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Ann Chwaszczewski and husbands Kendrick Stewart and Michael Williams.  She is survived by her two sons Daniel and Justin Calhoun, grandson Christopher, brothers Rich (Beth), Jim (Jill), John, Tom Chwaszczewski, nieces, nephews and Ron Calhoun.  She will be laid to rest at Vashon Island Cemetery.  Donations in her name can be made to Donate Life Northwest (https://www.donatelifenw.org/content/make-gift).

Mary has been redeemed by Christ, her sins forgiven, and now waits in faith with all believers for the day when our loving Lord raises us to eternal life.
