James Eddie Hubbard, age 61, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Dandridge, TN. He was born March 8, 1959 in Mill Creek, VA and was the son of the late Garnett and Anna Faye Hill Hubbard. He enjoyed fishing and horseshoes. James is survived by one son, Lucas Hubbard and wife Samantha; three brothers, Furley (L.C.) Hubbard and wife Nancy of Cedar Bluff, Allen Hubbard and wife Delzina of Cedar Bluff, and Lyndon Hubbard of Tazewell; two sisters, Mary Burkey and husband Mike of Dandridge, TN and Carol Elswick of Raven; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 11 – 12 p.m. Friday, October 30th at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA. Due to the COVID -19 Pandemic, masks will be required. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Phillip Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery at Claypool Hill, VA with Pastor James Dye officiating.
