Robert Richard

Robert Richard of Pré-d’en-Haut passed away on October 27, 2020 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 90. Born in Cap Lumière, NB on May 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Donat and Elmire (Caissie) Richard. He worked as a mechanic for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Edmée (Mémée), two daughters, Nicole (Mario) LeBlanc and Lise (Jean) Richard of Memramcook, three sons, Maurice (Christine) Richard and Francis Richard of Memramcook and Clarence (Nancy) Richard of Tracadie, eight granddaughters, Danika, Gabrielle, Frances, Cloé, Samantha, Jaël, Dominic and Annabelle, three sisters, Sr. Odette Richard (sisters of charity), Dorothée and Diana, one brother, Alyre and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Andrea and two brothers Alphonse and Gaston. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday October 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday October 31 at the Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d’en-Haut at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
