Dorothy May Goulding (Adams) October 5, 1925 - October 28, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy May Goulding (Adams) announces her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on October 28 at the age of 95. Dorothy worked along side her husband, Milton for several years in their Nursery business. Her love for gardening was obvious to everyone who witnessed the endless hours she spent in her flower and vegetable gardens. She would often spend the late evening hours, when it was too dark to work outside, bottling fruit and vegetables that she harvested earlier that day. She also enjoyed the company of family and friends, especially if it was around her table sharing stories over a wonderful lunch or meal that she had prepared. Her 4 grandchildren were a constant source of pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them. Dorothy was a Life Member of The United Church Women. She was predeceased by her loving husband Milton, parents Robert and Clemmie Adams and dear, special friend Donald Braye. Left to mourn are son, Robert Goulding (Kay) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, daughter, Dale McNutt (Eric) of Truro, Nova Scotia and grandchildren, Stephen Goulding of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Jennifer Goulding of Roddickton, Brandon McNutt (Megan) of Truro, and Ethan McNutt of Truro, great-granddaughter Maia McNutt of Truro, sister, Vivian Hurley (Adams) formerly of Lewisporte now residing in Gander, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be held for family and invited friends only. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinsons Society of NL. Pallbearers are Brandon McNutt, Ethan McNutt, Bill Rideout, and Jeff Braye. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
