Mr. Charles “Speedy” Detharidge, age 68, departed this life on October 28, 2020, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Born April 3, 1952, he was the son of the Leona Stout. He was survived by his wife Marcia West Detharidge; children, Anthony Detharidge and wife Latosha, Dewayne Detharidge and wife Clara, and Marci Detharidge; grandchildren, Ashley Gibson, Andrew Goodman, Hannah Evans, and Ethan Detharidge; great-grandchild, Zechariah Evans; sister, Geraldine Vann and husband Rick; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at the Oneida Church of God with Bro. Chuck Jeffers officiating. Due to COVID-19, and in cooperation with the Governor’s Executive Order # 22, we ask that attendees maintain appropriate social distancing, observe current health guidelines, and be considerate of all others in attendance.
