<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mr. Christopher Harold &quot;Chris&quot; Hasty, 85, husband of the late Nellie Veal Hasty, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his residence.</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mr. Chris, better known as &quot;Pops&quot; to his family and friends, was born on July 5, 1935 in Kershaw County, son of the late James Theldon Hasty and Nellie Katherine Raley Hasty. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a&nbsp;retired superintendent in the construction industry.&nbsp; Mr. Hasty was a member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Mason and an avid Gamecock Fan.</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Surviving are his sons, Gary Hasty of Florence and Christopher (Debra) Hasty of Lugoff; daughter, Kathy (Timmy) Parrott of Coward; grandchildren, Ashley Hasty, Courtney Lovinggood, Brianna Hasty (Andrew) Collins, Morgan Parrott and Luke Parrott; great grandchildren, Deklin and Jonah Collins.</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Coward.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The family will receive friends at the home of Kathy and Timmy Parrott, 421 Old McCutcheon Road, Coward.</strong></p>

Mr. Christopher Harold "Chris" Hasty, 85, husband of the late Nellie Veal Hasty, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Chris, better known as "Pops" to his family and friends, was born on July 5, 1935 in Kershaw County, son of the late James Theldon Hasty and Nellie Katherine Raley Hasty. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired superintendent in the construction industry.  Mr. Hasty was a member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Mason and an avid Gamecock Fan.

Surviving are his sons, Gary Hasty of Florence and Christopher (Debra) Hasty of Lugoff; daughter, Kathy (Timmy) Parrott of Coward; grandchildren, Ashley Hasty, Courtney Lovinggood, Brianna Hasty (Andrew) Collins, Morgan Parrott and Luke Parrott; great grandchildren, Deklin and Jonah Collins.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Coward. 

The family will receive friends at the home of Kathy and Timmy Parrott, 421 Old McCutcheon Road, Coward.
