Virtue Harris

Virtue Mae Harris June 27, 1928 to October 27, 2020 Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor on October 27th, 2020 at the age of 92 with family members at her bedside. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Mary-Kate, Husband Jack (John) Harris (2011), John-Thomas Ryan (1964) Daughter Eileen Harris, siblings Violet and Fred and one great-grandson Jason Todd Harris. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her children Bonnie, Beverley and Randy, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, brothers; Willie and Hubert Fisher, Son in law Ken, nephews, nieces and friends. Virtue loved her church and to worship her heavenly father. Although Virtue became victim to the dreaded disease Dementia beginning around 2005, she never lost her love for the lord. She continued on to sing and praise his name. While slowly forgetting faces and names of her loved ones over the years, she amazed her family and the staff of Golden Heights Manor when she still could remember her favorite hymns, word for word, as they were sung at the church services or played on her stereo in her room. It kept her comforted and calm. Every night she covered everyone in prayer before bed, including her family and the staff that cared for her, until dementia no longer permitted her to do so. Virtue leaves everyone with a memory of her beautiful big jolly smile, sense of humor, and hearty big ol' belly laughs. Although we can't see the smile on her face anymore, we do know that she is smiling right now in the presence of her love ones that have gone home before her and her Savior Jesus Christ. Virtue will be forever remembered, forever missed and forever loved.
