Areti Koustis Obituary

Areti Koustis, (nee Kyriazis) age 86, entered into rest peacefully Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

Beloved wife of the late Aristidis.

Loving mother of Joanne Prodafikas (John), Helen Rechin (Tom)

and Andreas (Elizabeth).

Dearest yiayia of Aryssa, Arthur, Vanessa, Sophia, Elizabeth, Margot, Ava, Isabella, Arianna and Anastasia.

Dear sister of Fotis (Andrea) and the following deceased Paul and Andreas.

Dear aunt, great aunt and friend of many. 

Areti was born & raised in Alexandria, Egypt. She moved to Patras,

Greece for a year before permanently immigrating to the United States in 1962.

She was married shortly after and moved to Cleveland.  Areti was devoted to her family and to her Greek Orthodox faith.

Her greatest joy was becoming a grandmother.

She touched everyone’s life that she met in a unique and special way.

She will be incredibly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Demetrios Philoptocos Society.

 

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1st  4-7 pm at the

CANNON, LOPRESTI & CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 

11210 Detroit Ave., Cleveland.

Trisagion services Sunday, 5pm.

( COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING AT MAIN ENTRANCE ).

 

All funeral services will be held Monday, November 2nd, 11am at

the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church

22909 Center Ridge Road, Rocky River.

Rev. Father Andrew Lentz, officiating.

Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
