Sybil Jean Barfield, 85, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Barfield was born January 16, 1935 to the late, James L. McCoy and Estelle Palmer in Phenix City, Alabama. She worked as a packer at Sunshine Biscuit and enjoyed keeping up the news and sports. Mrs. Barfield is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lamar Barfield and one son, Mike Barfield.
Surviving are her three children, Gail Strickland (Monte) of Tyrone, GA, Danny Barfield (Barbara) of Smiths Station, AL, and Charles Barfield (Donna) of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren, Monte Ray Strickland (Donna) of Atlanta, GA, Tony Lowe (Michelle) of Montgomery, AL, Kyle Watson of Newnan, GA, Blake Watson (Adriana) of Palmetto, GA, Heather Barthelmess (Tony) of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, and Christie Long (Mark) of MT; and five great-grandchildren, Anniston Watson of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, Cru Watson of Newnan, GA, Dillon Barthelmess of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, Victoria Watson of Palmetto, GA, and Violet Watson of Palmetto, GA; several nieces and nephews.
