Lois Dement McIntyre Obituary

Lois Dement McIntyre passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1932 and lived to be 88 years old. She was born in Clark County, Alabama and was a current resident of Semmes, Alabama.

Lois carried several titles: wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved everyone and she was a pure joy to know. She loved the Lord with all her heart and even in the end was still clinging to that love and encouraging others not to let anything come between them and God. She loved singing in the church and served many years next to her husband, who pastored in the Church of God denomination.

Lois is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Lonnie Gilbert McIntyre; daughter: Kathy Jo Ferenczi; son: Lonnie Gerry McIntyre; mother: Mattie Merle Walker; and her father: David Dewey Dement. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryle Jackson (William); four grandchildren: Johnny Carr Stabler, Jr. (Dana), Shanna Baria, Lois Mari Jackson, and Keri Lynn Jackson; and five great grandchildren: Chelsey Skelton (Sean), Marissa Stabler, Lane Himes, Sydney Himes, and Austin Jackson. And one brother: Jimmy Dement (Elaine).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Coffeeville, AL at 11am.
