Jesse Richard "Dickie" Major 56, of Old Union, AR passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. Dickie was born October 9, 1964 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Billy Wayne Major, Sr. and Melba Ward Major. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Charles Randall Major. Dickie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as treasurer. He was a former employee of Lion Oil Co., was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fellowship with friends at the river and squirrel camp. Survivors include one sister, Paula Higgs, two brothers, Billy Wayne Major, Jr. and Kevin Randall Major, and numerous nieces, nephews and one great niece. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church in Lawson, AR with Bro. Ronnie Robins and Bro. Bennie Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, ARObituary
