Eugene D. Siesto Rochester – 8/8/1940-10/27/2020 Pre-deceased by dear wife of 47 years, Regina; parents Vincent and Theresa (Bruno). Survived by sons Brian (Sarah) and Andrew; brother Alfred (Susan); beloved granddaughters Kate and Anna; sisters-in-law Roseanne (Richard) Critchlow, Marcia Calabrese; brothers-in-law Joseph (Judith) Wesley, Jack Scharr; loving Turchetti cousins, Richard, Marilyn and Elaine; cousin Adrian (Dee) Bruno; and many nieces and nephews. Gene had many dear friends including Nelson (Janet) Meisenzahl and Thomas (Rose) Oldfield. Gene was proud to have worked at Palmer Food Services for 60 years, and the family thanks Dwight "Kip" Palmer for his friendship and support. The Siesto family is grateful to everyone at St. Ann's Community (1500 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14621), Rochester General Hospital (1425 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621) and Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center (2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 ) for the wonderful care Gene received. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org), the organizations listed above or a charity of the donor's choice. Gene looked forward to the day when he was reunited with Regina, and that day has arrived! There will be no calling hours or service. Final internment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
