Simonne Rosia Lafreniere

LAFRENIERE: Simonne Rosia Born September 4th 1932 Peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital, on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020. Simonne Rosia (nee Brassard) was the beloved wife of Isaie Lafreniere of 69 years, she was 88 years old. She was the loving mémère that will be remembered by all her grand children for so many special occasions and those special breakfast crepes that they all loved so much. She was the proud member of Les Femmes de Federation Canadiennes française for over 40 years. Loving mother of Diane (Paul), Richard (Patsy), George (Cheryl), Denise (Trevor), Lynne (Kenneth). Predeceased by her son Michel (Douglas) and her grandson Chad (Sandra). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Eric, Sally (Timothy), Scott (April), Robin (Tammy), André, Natalie (Jared), Sarah (Tyler), Kaitlyn (Keith), Jeremy, Brandon, Paul, Chris and great grandchildren Tessa, Amelia, Audie, Coby, Jessie, Emma, Carter, Reagan, Jayden, Blake, Max, Hudson and Riley. Predeceased by her parents Isidore Brassard and Maria (nee Gelinas). Dearly loved sister of Therese (predeceased by Gilles), Armenie (predeceased by Antonio), Claude (Lise), Marie-Ange (Fernand), Marguerite (Reginal) Ghyslaine, Emile, and predeceased by Stella and Jacques (Solange). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 2nd, at 11:00 am. Due to the current restrictions imposed by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario Mask must be worn at the Church and please respect Social Distancing. Interment to follow at the St.Anne’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
