Funeral Services for Mrs. Paula K. Hipp, 80, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2020. Services will be held in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Rick Crandall and Rev. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. Hipp was born on December 13, 1939 and passed away on October 26, 2020. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church. She worked for the Trenton House for many years, where she enjoyed meeting new people and shopping at market. She later worked for the Glenwood Hospital Gift Shop. Mrs. Hipp loved people wholeheartedly and thrived in investing in others. On Friday evenings, you could always catch her listening to her beloved West Monroe High School Rebels football. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to her. She is preceded in death by her parents, S.C. Simpson and Mabel Ann Jasper Simpson; husband Billy E. Hipp; brother, Jerry Simpson; and sister-in-law, Connie Simpson. Survivors include her two sons, Michael “Mike” Hipp and wife, Sharon; Joey Hipp and wife, Michelle; four grandchildren, including; Laureen Hinton and husband, Andrew; Taylor Hipp and wife, Savannah; Jacob Hipp, and Alicia Hutson; and three great-grandchildren, Abram Hinton, John Michael Hinton, and Camden Hinton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tinnerello, Tommy Lewis, Logan Cantu, Ron Barfield, Taylor Hipp, and Andrew Hinton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Arthur and Wayne Cranford. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
