Rick Anthony Jauregui Obituary

June 16,1966-Oct 25, 2020 Rick Anthony Jauregui, aka “Big Nino” was born in Flagstaff, AZ, on June 16, 1966. He left us too soon the morning of Sunday, October 25, 2020. He was the youngest son born to Lydia “Lily” Gonzales and Alfred Jauregui. He went with God peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his home. Ricky played high school football at Cortez High School where he was a 4 year letterman and Captain of the varsity team, and his love for the sport never ceased, especially his love for his Dallas Cowboys. He went on to NAU and graduated with a business degree to pursue his career as a loan officer. He even became business owner of his own loan company this past year. He loved going up north to the house in Flagstaff, where he would often go hunting, shooting, and fishing on his boat and always wanted to bring family along. He also loved playing the drums in multiple bands over the years, and was very talented. He excelled at everything he did. His other great love in life was family, and you could always count on him to be there. He is survived by Mr. and Mrs Alfred Jauregui (Pop), Joe (dad) and Lydia Gonzales, his brother Fred, sister-in-law Marcie, sisters Vanessa and Bianca, Goddaughter Christina and nephew-in-law Noah, nieces Olivia and Victoria, nephews Anthony and Kai, and great-nieces and nephews Julie, Max, Gracie, Luke, and Ethan. He was one of a kind, generous, kind-hearted and had many words of wisdom. All his friends had nothing but good things to say about him, and he touched many lives. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Heaven is gaining an angel.
