Nancy Marie Ragap Obituary

Nancy Marie Ragap, age 80, of Metamora, died Tuesday October 27, 2020. She was born May 16, 1940 in Warren, to Leo and Virginia (Fleese) Rosinski. Nancy attended St. Clement Catholic Church and School in Warren, from grade school through high school graduation. She married Robert James Ragap on July 7, 1962 at St. Clement Catholic Church. Nancy worked many years for the Federal Reserve Bank in Detroit as a currency sorter, many years as a nurse’s aide at Lapeer Regional Hospital and several years at Lyons & Smith Department Store in Lapeer. Mr. and Mrs. Ragap are longtime, devoted members of Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer. Nancy had a strong faith in God and the Catholic Church, she prayed the Rosary often and prayed for her family and friends daily. She loved time with family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Ragap enjoyed shopping and staying in touch with family and friends with cards and mail. Nancy is survived by her husband: Robert Ragap of Metamora; children: Tracy (Lon) Keely of Grand Rapids and Scott (Marisol) Ragap of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren: Caleb Keely, Ella Keely, Madison Ragap and Noah Ragap; siblings: Norm (Gerre) Rosinski of Grand Blanc, Larry Rosinski of Hadley and Linda (Dick) Wirz of Sterling Heights, several nieces and nephews; and many other dear family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Virginia Rosinski; and sister: Ilene. Visitation will be 4-7PM Friday, October 30, 2020, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer and 12:45PM-1PM Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 West Nepessing St., Lapeer. The Rosary will be prayed 6:30PM Friday at the funeral home. Nancy funeral mass will be 1PM Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Immaculate Conception, followed by cremation. Father Brian Hurley will celebrate the Funeral Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer.
